Use an agenda slide
Previously on the Global Communication School blog we recommended that you give an overview of what your main points are going to be in your presentation opening. This should be accompanied an agenda slide.
Here are two ways to use an agenda slide effectively:
1. Simplify
2. Repeat
1. Simplify
Rather than outline what you are going to speak about in detail on your agenda slide, simplifying each point into one or two keywords will have a far greater impact on your audience.
2. Repeat
Repeat your agenda slide between each of your main points and again at the end of your presentation. This along with signpost language will make your speech easy to follow by emphasizing its structure in the minds of your audience. In addition, using the agenda slide at the end will once more reinforce your main points when you summarize your presentation.
