A habit of good communicators is that they announce what they are going to say, before they say it. This is called signposting and you should use it in your presentation when you begin and end a point.
Let’s imagine, as in the previous blog post, you are making a presentation about football and there are 3 main points, players, teams and competitions:
Ok, let me begin my first point, players…
…right, that finishes my first point players.
Now, I want to move onto my second point, teams…
…well, the covers my second point, teams.
Finally, I’m going to turn to my third point competitions…
…so, that all I want to say about my third and final point, competitions.
